About Ellen Thompson

Ellen W. Thompson, MSN RNCS, is an advanced practical clinical specialist, licensed by the state of Maryland. Ms. Thompson received her masters degree at the University of Pennsylvania and did postgraduate training at the Bowen Center for the Study of the Family. She is a family psychotherapist specializing in families and individuals. She is also certified in EEG Biofeedback by the National Registry of Neurofeedback Providers and holds a certification from the American Nurse's Association.

Ellen's practice offers psychotherapy and neurofeedback. While each therapy is effective on their own, very often combining the two often yields quicker results.

Ms. Thompson is a member of the International Society for Neuronal Regulation and has trained with experts in the field of neurofeedback.

She has an interest in research, brain development, and the part the emotional process plays in regulating the autonomic functioning of the individual and the family.
